Privacy Policy

Who we are

We are the controller of the personal data described on this page. You can reach us about anything on this page at support@volteify.net.

What we collect

When you place an order we collect your name, phone number, and delivery address (or the Econt office you choose), and — if you choose to provide it — your email address. This information is used solely to process and deliver your order, and, where an email address is given, to send the order and reminder emails described below.

To deliver your order we pass your name, phone number and delivery address — or the Econt office you chose — to our courier, Econt Express (econt.com). Econt uses them to deliver the parcel, to contact you about the delivery and to collect the cash-on-delivery payment, and handles them under its own privacy policy.

What we do not do

We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes, except for the advertising measurement described under “Cookies and your consent”, which happens only with your consent. We do not store payment information — all orders are paid in cash on delivery.

Order status emails

Placing an order means we will email you a confirmation, and we will email you again whenever its status changes to Confirmed, Shipped, Delivered, or Cancelled. These emails are necessary to keep you informed about an order you placed — they are not a marketing subscription, so they cannot be unsubscribed from separately from the order itself.

Abandoned cart reminders

If you start an order and do not finish it, and you have entered an email address, we send up to two automatic reminder emails so you can pick up where you left off — roughly one hour after you leave, and roughly a day later if you still have not finished. This does not require signing up or ticking a box; it is an automatic follow-up on an order you started. We never send more than two reminders for the same cart, and we stop immediately if you complete the order. Every reminder includes a one-click link to stop these emails permanently, and we delete the cart data behind them automatically after 30 days regardless.

Back-in-stock notifications

If a product variant is out of stock, you can ask to be emailed once it is back. We store your email address and the variant you asked about, for that purpose only. As soon as the notification is sent, the request is deleted — we do not keep a record of it afterwards, and asking to be notified does not add you to any other list.

Newsletter

Subscribing to our newsletter using the form on the site takes effect immediately — there is no confirmation email to click; submitting the form is your consent. We use it to send occasional Voltify news, new products and offers. Every newsletter email includes a one-click unsubscribe link that works without signing in.

Cookies and your consent

Our cookie banner is our own. The shop uses a few essential cookies it cannot work without — your cart, form security, your language, and your cookie choice itself. Everything else asks first: Statistics and Marketing stay off until you switch them on in Cookie settings or press Accept all, and nothing is ever switched on for you. Declining changes nothing about how the shop works or your ability to order.

Statistics — Google Analytics (GA4). With your consent we use Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Ltd, to see which pages and products are viewed, so we can improve the shop. Its cookies are kept for 12 months. Without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded at all and no data reaches Google.

Marketing — Meta Pixel and the Conversions API. With your consent we use Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, to see which Facebook and Instagram ads lead to visits and orders. For collecting this data on our site and passing it to Meta, we and Meta are joint controllers; what Meta then does with it is governed by Meta’s own privacy policy. With the same consent our server also reports adding to cart, starting checkout and placing an order directly to Meta, together with your IP address, browser type and Meta’s cookie identifiers, and — if you arrived from an ad — the ad click identifier. When you place an order it also sends the order details (products and amount) and your email address, phone number, name, city and postcode, each hashed with SHA-256 on our server first, so the details themselves are never sent. Without your consent to Marketing, nothing is sent and the ad click identifier is not kept.

Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of Marketing and only ask you about Statistics. You can still switch Marketing on yourself in Cookie settings.

Your choice, and our record of it. We store your choice in the vlt_consent cookie on your device for 12 months, so we do not ask on every visit. As proof of consent we also keep a record of each choice in our own database: a random consent ID, the date and time, your choices, the version of the banner text and cookie list you were shown, the language, the page you were on, whether you arrived from an ad, your IP address with its last part removed, and your browser type. These records are deleted after 24 months. You can see your consent ID under Cookie settings — quote it if you contact us about your choice. Choices made between 17 and 30 September 2026 were collected for us by Cookiebot, the banner we used then; we keep an export of that log as proof of those choices and delete it on the same schedule.

Changing or withdrawing your consent. Use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, at any time. When you withdraw, the Google and Meta cookies are deleted from your browser and our server stops reporting to Meta straight away. We ask again after 12 months, or sooner if we add a new provider or purpose.

Transfers outside the EU. Google and Meta may process this data in the United States. Both companies participate in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Server logs and security

Separately from the analytics described above, our server keeps a log of every page requested from the shop. Each entry records your IP address, the page you asked for, the address of the page that linked you to it (the "referrer"), and the date and time. We use this to keep the shop running and secure — to see how much traffic we are getting, and to recognise automated scraping, abusive request volumes and attempts to break into the shop's administration panel.

This is not the same thing as the cookie-based analytics above, and it does not depend on your cookie choice. Google Analytics and Meta Pixel run in your browser and load only if you accept them in the banner. This logging happens on our server, as part of answering your request, and no cookie is involved — so it takes place whether you accept, decline, or never answer the banner at all. We rely on our legitimate interest in the security and proper operation of the shop (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) rather than on your consent. It is not used for advertising, it is never combined with the analytics data above, and it is never sold or shared for marketing.

To make the log readable we look each IP address up with ip-api.com, a third-party service that returns an approximate location (country, region and city), the name of your internet provider, and whether the address belongs to a datacenter or a VPN. Only the IP address is sent to them — never your name, your email address, your order, or anything you typed. The result is approximate and identifies a network, not a person or an address.

Before anything is written down we remove the parts of a web address that could carry personal data or a one-time link — for example the tokens in unsubscribe and resume-your-order links, which are replaced with a placeholder. We never log your activity inside the administration panel.

We also use these logs to count, per day, how many people looked at each product and how many arrived from our own ad links. Only the daily totals are kept: they contain no IP address, cannot be traced back to anyone, and no cookie is involved.

When you add something to your cart we note which channel or campaign brought you to the shop — for example “a Meta ad, campaign Autumn”, read from the link you arrived on or the site that sent you — and keep that label with your order: it is a campaign label, not tracking of you, and nothing is stored in your browser for it.

These logs are deleted automatically after 90 days, along with the location data derived from them. The rights described below apply to them in the same way as to everything else on this page.

Data storage

Your order information is stored securely in our own database.

Your rights

You may ask us for a copy of your personal data, to correct it, to delete it, or to restrict or object to how we use it, and you may withdraw any consent at any time — email support@volteify.net. We will respond within 7 business days. You also have the right to complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (КЗЛД, www.cpdp.bg).
